Retreat Participation Agreement & Release of Liability

By participating in the Mr. Yin’s Dream Retreat hosted by Lainie Gratz and Luis Villalobos taking place at White Lotus in Virginia, I acknowledge that retreat activities may involve physical, emotional, psychological, spiritual, and travel-related risks. I voluntarily assume full responsibility for my participation, well-being, choices, and personal safety throughout the duration of the retreat.

I understand that retreat activities may include, but are not limited to: ceremony, Serpent Heart Integration, breathwork, meditation, somatic experiences, live music experiences, wellness offerings, and other transformational or group activities. Participation in all activities is voluntary, and I agree to honor my own limits, boundaries, and personal responsibility throughout the retreat.

I affirm that I am physically, emotionally, and mentally capable of participating in this retreat. I understand that it is my responsibility to disclose any relevant medical, psychological, or physical conditions that may impact my participation and to consult with a qualified medical professional regarding any medications, contraindications, or health concerns prior to attending.

I understand that retreat experiences may evoke emotional, psychological, or energetic responses, and I accept full responsibility for my own self-regulation, choices, reactions, and integration throughout the retreat experience.

I hereby RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE, HOLD HARMLESS, AND AGREE NOT TO SUE Lainie Gratz, Luis Villalobos, retreat staff, facilitators, contractors, volunteers, White Lotus, venue owners, affiliates, or associated representatives from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, injuries, losses, expenses, or causes of action arising from or related to my participation in this retreat, including participation in retreat activities and travel related to the retreat.

I understand that independent contractors or third-party providers may be engaged for certain retreat services, including but not limited to transportation, ceremony support, musicians, wellness practitioners, or other offerings. I acknowledge that Lainie Gratz and White Lotus are not responsible for the actions, services, negligence, or conduct of independent providers.

I understand that if I choose to leave the retreat property or participate in activities outside the retreat itinerary, I do so voluntarily and at my own risk, assuming full responsibility for any resulting consequences, expenses, or incidents.

I agree to be financially responsible for any medical care, emergency transportation, treatment, or related expenses I may incur beyond basic first aid support. I understand that travel and medical insurance are strongly recommended.

I acknowledge that this retreat takes place in Virginia, and I agree that any disputes arising from participation in this retreat shall be governed by the applicable laws and jurisdiction of the State of Virginia.

I understand that photographs, video, or audio recordings may be captured during the retreat for promotional, educational, archival, or marketing purposes. By participating, I grant permission for my likeness to be used unless I notify the retreat organizers in writing prior to the retreat that I wish to opt out of media use.

I understand that this agreement is intended to be interpreted broadly and to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. If any provision of this agreement is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

By checking the box during registration, I acknowledge that I have carefully read, understood, and voluntarily agreed to the terms of this Retreat Participation Agreement & Release of Liability.
